PROJECT FULLSTOP

“Give a person a fish and they will eat for a day, teach a person to fish and they will eat for a lifetime”

How can you teach a person to fish if you do not provide them a way to get to the lessons? How can you teach a person to fish if they are struggling to make ends meet and learning is their last priority?

At Fullstop foundation, we believe a person needs to be set up for success and they need different support at different times. When it comes to generational poverty, teaching someone skills is a great start, but unfortunately breaking a ‘short-term survival mindset’ isn’t only changed by courses and education. It is a long-term journey where love, care and support needs to be involved. We want to provide a full solution for a person to help them achieve their dreams and have a fruitful life for themselves and their families.

Maybe that saying is not completely wrong. We just believe when it comes to teaching a person to fish or providing them with the fish they need on the day, why not provide both?
